MINI PATCHWORK QUILT - CHESTER WORKSHOPS

Navigate to next page

Our mini patchwork quilt workshop will show you how to make your own beautiful patchwork quilt.  We will show you how to use a rotary cutter for precision cutting, how to arrange and construct your quilt.

You can bring your own fabric to create your patchwork (we would advise at least 6 fat quarters) you can even use up your cotton or polycotton scraps!

You will go home with a beautiful individual patchwork quilt the perfect size for babys cot or pampered pooch bed.

WHAT IS A FAT QUARTER?

A fat quarter is a piece of fabric that measures approximately 18 inches by 22 inches (45.5cm by 56cm in metric).

It is often used in quilting and available to buy from most fabric or craft stores.

Fat Quarters make  possible to buy lots of different pieces of fabric which don’t cost too much, that are a usable  size for lots of projects.

They are sometimes sold in bundles of coordinating fabrics.
